Condition of Use
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.
When you create an account with us, you must provide us information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.
You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password, whether your password is with our Service or a third-party service.
You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
The Service and its original content, features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Woodfords Aromatherapy and its licensors.
Links To Other Web Sites
Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Woodfords Aromatherapy.
Woodfords Aromatherapy has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Woodfords Aromatherapy shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.
We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that you visit.
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service.
All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.
We do not sell products for purchase by children. We sell children’s products for purchase by adults. If you are under 18 you may use the Woodfords Aromatherapy Services only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or course of performance.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.
Conditions of Sale
Your Cancellation Rights
As you are a consumer and have made an order on-line you may, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, cancel your order and obtain a refund within 14 working days from delivery. Products ordered from 1st March 2020 with a valid receipt can be returned up to 90 days following their purchase date.
If you wish to return your online order please contact customer services for a returns form.
If you do not have access to a printer, please include the original packing slip note, noting the items you are returning. Please enclose the RETURNS NOTE or original packing slip with your parcel. NOTE: Any postage cost obtained via independent return will not be reimbursed.
Please ensure you obtain a proof of postage when you return your order.
Customers wishing to return fragrance items should have regard to any labelling and packaging guidelines produced by Royal Mail or any other courier that is used.
Please allow 14 working days from the date your order is returned for your refund to be processed. Products ordered with a valid receipt can be returned up to 90 days following their purchase date. The refund will be processed to the original payment method (credit/debit card) used to place the order.
Products excluded from this are:
- Gift cards
- Booking Fees
- Personalised goods
This does not affect your statutory rights.
If you require a refund we will refund the price paid by you for the goods (including the initial standard delivery charge, but not the additional cost of any premium delivery option that was chosen) within 14 days after the day on which we receive the Products back from you or, if earlier, the day on which you provide us with evidence that you have sent the Products back to us, provided that you have returned the goods to us within 14 working days of delivery to you or your notifying us of cancellation.
We will not provide a full refund if the goods show signs of unreasonable use. In such circumstances, we will notify you that a reduced refund amount will be available or you can choose to arrange for such goods to be returned to you within 28 days of our notification.
Your right to return goods does not apply to goods made to your specification or which have been clearly personalised (e.g. by being engraved) or which by reason of their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly or where sealed goods have been supplied which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if they become unsealed after delivery.
Your rights if there is a problem with a product
In addition to the rights described above (and in accordance with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015), if the goods you receive are damaged or faulty, or not what you originally ordered please notify us as soon as possible. Please provide the order number and ensure that you keep the box, packing materials including packing note and all items received for inspection.
Cancelling an order
Once your order is confirmed, if you wish to cancel your order we advise you will need to contact us as soon as possible.
Please ensure you have your purchase order number ready when contacting us. Please note, that for orders placed using Standard Delivery, you will need to contact us with your cancellation request within 3 hours of having placed your order. For any orders placed on expedited shipping services, please contact us immediately to avoid disappointment as processing times will vary from Standard Delivery.
NOTE: As processing times can vary, we advise that we cannot guarantee your order will be cancelled when requested. If this is the case, please see information above on how to return your order to obtain a refund.
Delivery Rules & Restrictions
Please be aware that, during exceptional circumstances, delivery times may vary.
Please allow two additional days for deliveries to Scottish Highlands, Aberdeen, Northern Ireland and other rural areas. We apologise that some deliveries to Northern Ireland could be delayed by Irish Customs. Unfortunately for specific rural areas we may offer limited delivery options – you will be notified of this at checkout.
We are sorry that we are unable to process orders to:
- P.O Box addresses.
- British Forces Postal Office addresses.
- The Channel Islands.
- Any address outside the UK.
Woodfords Aromatherapy does not accept any liability for delayed delivery caused by any third party. As soon as you have received the goods, you will assume all responsibility of the goods. Upon delivery, we will provide you with details to enable you to:
a) exercise your right of cancellation; and
b) address any intended cancellation or complaints to the correct place of business.
Distribution and Reception
To ensure that there are no mistakes with addresses and to check that our delivery company has all the correct details, we use a system that verifies your address using your postcode.
Any delivery timescales quoted to you are indicative only. Orders may arrive in one or more delivery.
Some orders require a signature upon delivery. If you are not there to receive your order, our delivery company may leave a telephone number or delivery card for you to make alternative arrangements. To ensure secure and undamaged delivery of your order, our delivery company will not be able to leave your order ‘hidden’ at the address.
Item Availability / Temporarily Out of Stock
If an item selected is temporarily out of stock at the time of your order, you will be notified via email and advised of the expected ship date of the backordered item. Backordered items are shipped as soon as they are available. Please note that the actual delivery date of your order depends on the shipping method you select.
Please be assured that you will not be charged for any item until it is shipped, unless you are using an eGift Card as your payment method. If for any reason you wish to cancel a backordered item prior to its shipment, please contact Customer Services.

We’re sorry, we do not accept CODs, Layaway plan, Personal Cheques, or Money Orders.
All purchases are subject to bank authorization prior to processing. Only authorized purchases will be processed and shipped.
Payment Authorization Holds
When placing an order using a credit card or debit card, two transactions will be posted to your account.
- The issuing bank for your payment card will place a hold on the funds in your account in the amount of your purchase when an order is authorized. This action reserves the funds for the pending charge.
- You will subsequently be charged for the order which removes the funds from your account. The charge may vary from the amount of the authorization hold if items within the order are not shipped.
- If an order is cancelled, the authorization hold will be removed by the issuing bank. For details on the removal of authorization holds, please contact the issuing bank’s customer service. Because this process is specific to each bank, we regret that we cannot provide assistance with the removal of authorization holds.
With a Woodfords Aromatherapy Account, you can check the status of your most recent orders by visiting our Order Status page. This is the easiest and fastest way to get current information regarding your online orders.
For orders shipped within the UK & Ireland, when you click on the Order Status page, you will be prompted to log in with your email address and password. An order summary page will provide you with detailed information about your current and past orders. After your order is shipped, your tracking number, if available, will be displayed. To track your order via the carrier’s website, you may click on the tracking number to view the delivery status of your order. Please note: some carriers may not have tracking information available for up to 24 business hours after the order is shipped.
Order Cancellations by Woodfords Aromatherapy
Occasionally, orders or parts of an order are cancelled for various reasons by Woodfords Aromatherapy. Some reasons are:
- Item(s) are not available
- Difficulty in processing payment information
- Cannot ship to the address provided
- A duplicate order was placed
- By customer request
- Purchase limits have been exceeded
If your order is cancelled, you will receive an email to advise you. You will not be billed for any cancelled items. If you have questions about a cancelled order, please contact our Customer Services.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
